Ryan Dominguez
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ryan Dominguez is an experienced public servant, advocate, and policy buff who enjoys solving complex issues. A former Chief of Staff in the Massachusetts House of Representatives who later went on to advocate for fair housing and jobs in the cannabis industry for those formerly incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses, Ryan is a thought-leader in the cannabis industry and the founder of MassCultivatED.
Seeking to unite all types of cannabis license holders in Massachusetts, Ryan brings to the table the ability to see through an equity lens to ensure that nobody is left behind as the MCC fights to build a better cannabis industry for all.
Ryan holds a Bachelors of Political Science from Northeastern University and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University.

Megan Dobro
Founder and CEO - SafeTiva Labs
Megan Dobro is the Founder and CEO of SafeTiva Labs in Westfield, MA. Previously a tenured biology professor at Hampshire College, Megan opened a cannabis testing lab with the mission of raising the bar for scientific integrity, customer service, and ultra-fast turnaround times. She promotes diversity and social justice in the sciences and aims to keep humanity at the forefront of business. Megan holds a PhD in molecular biology from Caltech and a BS in biology from Bridgewater State University.

Jeffrey Herold is a dedicated and forward-thinking leader in the cannabis industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Garden Remedies, Inc. His passion for Massachusetts cannabis and commitment to keeping things local are the driving forces behind his leadership. Under Jeffrey's guidance, Garden Remedies has become a model of innovation, sustainability, and community engagement in the Massachusetts cannabis sector.
His military service instilled in him a disciplined and strategic approach, which he now leverages to drive Garden Remedies' growth and operational excellence. His focus on sustainable practices and local engagement has distinguished the company and strengthened its ties with the community and stakeholders.
As the Founding Board Chair of the Massachusetts Cannabis Coalition, alongside Vice Chair Payton Shubrick, Jeffrey has played a pivotal role in shaping the coalition and advocating for the industry's growth and sustainability. He ensures that the MCC stays at the forefront of regulatory developments, supporting policies that benefit the local cannabis community.

Payton Shubrick
Founder and CEO - 6Bricks
Born and raised in Springfield, MA, Payton Shubrick is a proud Springfield Central High School, College of the Holy Cross, and Bay Path University graduate. The oldest of four children, Payton is a natural leader and innovative thinker who enjoys new challenges facing emerging industries.
She started 6 Brick’s with the help of her parents and sisters, showing that a family-owned business has a place in this industry. 6 Brick's opened in September of 2022 and has already put Western Massachusetts on the map, winning Best Massachusetts Recreational Dispensary by the New England Cannabis Community Awards & MassLive Reader Rave’s Best Dispensary within its first year.
Staying true to her commitment to engaging more women, people of color, and aspiring entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry, she is an Adjunct Professor at American International College and Clark University, coached in the CT Social Equity Accelerator Program, and was named NECANN Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 and has been named to Marijuana Venture 40 under 40 for her leadership and success in the industry.

Anthony Parinello
CEO - Clear Sky Cannabis
Anthony Parinello has leadership expertise across all aspects of legal cannabis enterprises: cultivation operations, product manufacturing and processing, retail and dispensary operations, sales and marketing, regulatory compliance and investor and government relations.
He has directed siting efforts, state application submissions and cultivation facility design processes. His work also includes securing municipal and state approval for five dispensaries and two cultivation facilities in Massachusetts. Anthony has also led the design and construction management for cultivation and retail facilities. Specializing in fast and high quality delivery of services, he has overseen efforts that completed construction of a cultivation facility in 90 days and retail locations in 60 days.

Gyasi Sellers is the Founder and CEO of Treevit which has grown steadily since making their first delivery in September of 2021. Treevit's goal is to build relationships with licensed dispensaries, cultivators, and law enforcement to provide safe and secure transport of legal cannabis throughout Massachusetts.

Brandon Pollock is a founder and CEO of Theory Wellness, which is an employee owned cannabis company headquartered in Stoneham MA. Theory operates four dispensaries as well as a cultivation and manufacturing facility in Massachusetts, and also has operations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey and Ohio.

Toby Nuber
CFO - Good Chemistry
Toby Nuber joined Good Chemistry in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. With 15-plus years of investment banking, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance experience, Nuber oversees and leads all financial-related matters for Good Chemistry and helping lead the company’s expansion into new markets.
In 2017, Nuber’s role expanded to include management of the company’s broader operations. As Chief Operating Officer, Toby develops company best practices and leads multiple departments including finance, compliance, IT, human resources, facilities and procurement.
Prior to joining Good Chemistry, Nuber successfully applied his financial, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions skills at several investment banks, including the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC Capital Markets) and UBS and a large global corporation. In this capacity, Nuber completed more than 40 transactions including initial public offerings, debt and equity capital raises, and buy/sell side mergers or acquisitions for a diverse set of healthcare and technology clients.

Kay Doyle
Director of Government Affairs - GTI
Kay Doyle is Director of Government Affairs with Green Thumb Industries, a family of companies providing safe and dignified access to cannabis and cannabis products in multiple states. She previously served as one of the inaugural Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commissioners, launching the first adult use program on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States and leading the regulatory team in establishing the adult use regulations. During her time there, she served as the Chair of the Environmental and Energy Task Force, coordinating the launch of the first statewide environmental requirements for cannabis cultivation. Prior to serving as Commissioner, Kay was Deputy General Counsel to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), where she acted as primary counsel to the Medical Use of Marijuana Program, the Food Protection Program and the Tobacco Control Program, advising clients regarding federal and state law relating to marijuana, food regulation, environmental health, tobacco protection, and administrative law. After her career in public service, Kay served as Director of Public Policy for Jazz Pharmaceuticals, previously known as Greenwich Biosciences and GW Pharmaceuticals, the producer of the only FDA-approved plant-derived cannabinoid drug, Epidiolex. She has also worked as an attorney for Kopelman and Paige, P.C., representing private and municipal clients with a focus on cannabis law, administrative law, land use law, civil rights law and environmental law. She has experience practicing before all levels of federal and state court, including the United States Supreme Court.
